Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Mason Mount and Luke Shaw will be absent for the Premier League clash against Arsenal.
Mount has had an injury-plagued debut season and he has sustained a fresh injury which will keep him out of the weekend's game at Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, Shaw was anticipated to return following a long-term muscle injury, but he has now suffered a setback in his recovery process.
Ten Hag remains optimistic that he could be available for the FA Cup final.
United are currently eighth in the Premier League with only 54 points. They must beat the Gunners to stay in contention for European football.
The club have a tremendous record against Arsenal and have lost just one home league game versus them over the previous 16 campaigns.
This should hand them some confidence, but they will need to be defensively strong to come on top with a victory on Sunday.
