28 January 2013 - 05:53

Chelsea legend Didier Drogba is on the cusp of a move to Turkish side Galatasaray. The Ivory Coast international will turn down a return to the Blues and move to Turkey.

  • The striker had been linked with a move to his former club since his release from Shanghai Shenhua, but it appears Galatasaray have won the race for his signature and will see the player join the club on an 18 month contract.

Drogba had been offered a contract last year by Chelsea after he had won the Champions League, but the player opted to move to China.
