West Ham complete Pogatetz move

The Hammers have completed the signing of former Middlesbrough defender Emmanuel Pogatetz from German side Wolfsburg. The 30-year-old initially joins on loan.

West Ham have been busy signing players this month, and have already brought in Brazilian forward Wellington as well as Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh.<br />

"I feel very good to be here and I am very excited about playing for West Ham," said Pogatetz.<br />

The Hammers have the option to make the player's move permanent at the end of the year.
