Anton Ferdinand swaps QPR for Bursaspor

29 January 2013 - 14:39

Ambitious Turkish side Bursaspor have wrapped up a deal to bring Queens Park Rangers' defender Anton Ferdinand to Southern Europe on loan until the end of the season.

  • Chelsea join Liverpool & Man Utd in race to sign 26yo
  • Barcelona identify Arsenal midfielder as key transfer target

  • Ferdinand has long been linked with a move away from Rangers, with manager Harry Redknapp informing the centre back only two weeks ago that he is no longer part of the club's long term plans.

Bursaspor are flying high in the Turkish league in sixth place, and England international goalkeeper Scott Carson is currently their number 1.
