West Bromwich Albion manager Steve Clarke is desperate to keep Nigerian striker Peter Odemwingie despite the interest of Queens Park Rangers.

 • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
 • The talented forward has been persistently linked with a move away from the Hawthorns, and now a move could be on the way with just two days of the transfer window remaining.
"We have discussed it……he would be difficult to replace," Clarke said. "That's why I'd rather he stayed. In an ideal world, I would have a replacement lined up.
"He scores vital goals. He got the equaliser last week in a derby game (against Aston Villa)."
