Wigan manager wants to complete a surprise swoop for Scottish winger Aiden McGeady. The player is ready to quit Spartak Moscow and return to the UK.
Wigan have been quiet in the transfer window this year, but Roberto Martinez is desperate to find some new attacking talent.<br />
McGeady currently earns £70,000 at Spartak, and it is understood that he will have to drop his salary demands down to around £50,000 per week to move to Wigan.
