Fulham will complete a move for Roma keeper Maarten Stekelenburg in the summer, after a fee was reportedly agreed between the two clubs for the keeper. The player has been targeted by Fulham for a year.
Stekelenburg is widely regarded as one of the best goalies in Europe, and since joining Roma has grown increasingly frustrated with life in Italy.
At Ajax, his former club, he was managed by current Fulham manager Martin Jol, and is eager to reunite with his former boss. The 30-year-old will be offered a five year deal at Craven Cottage.
Stekelenburg is the first player from the Netherlands to play for Roma.
