Manchester United look set to miss out on their preferred transfer target this summer, Robert Lewandowski. The Borussia Dortmund and Poland striker has apparently already agreed terms with German rivals Bayern Munich.
Man Utd's manager Sir Alex Ferguson is a big fan of the burly forward, and had made his first approach for the player over 18 months ago.
When asked about a move for the player, Ferguson admitted that Bayern could win the race for his signature: "Yeah, but Bayern Munich are strong with that too. We just have to wait and see where we are in terms of if we win the league. Then it may be different."
