Chelsea target Lavezzi eyes PSG stay

15 May 2013 - 06:10

Paris St Germain striker Ezequiel Lavezzi is planning for a long term stay at the French capital, despite the interest of Chelsea. The Blues are rumoured to be preparing a massive 50 million Euro offer for the striker.

  • John Terry wants Chelsea to re-sign Thiago Silva in January
  • Man Utd & Chelsea want to land Marc Guehi?

  • After helping PSG to the French league title for the first time in 19 years, Lavezzi has been linked with a move to Chelsea.

"I spent five years with Napoli and I was passionate about the club, but I did not have the privacy I needed for a normal life," Lavezzi told L'Equipe. "That is also why I wanted a change last year. At Paris I remain a footballer but I can find again a normal life.

"My intention is to stay in Paris. But we all know the old adage that in football you never know what can happen. Maybe I will spend a lot of time at PSG. Maybe not. Our lives are about transfer rumours. That is why I remain very calm about the rumours over our coach Carlo Ancelotti."
