Chelsea are expected to offer Frank Lampard a new deal at the end of the season. The attacking midfielder has scored nine goals in his last 18 games to help the club win the Europa League as well as secure a top four finish.
The Blues have been locked in talks with the midfielder for several months, and were expected to release the player from his contract at the end of the year as club physician's believed Lampard started to show signs of decline.
But after ensuring a top four position - as well as becoming Chelsea's all time top scorer - it appears there has been a change of heart at the top and that the club will offer the England international a brand new two year contract.
