Tottenham coach insists Bale staying put

22 May 2013 - 04:14

Tottenham coach Tim Sherwood has told reporters that he expects star player Gareth Bale to stay at the club this summer, despite Spurs failing to land Champions League football.

  • Chelsea set to sign Crystal Palace star for £47m
  • Man Utd aiming to beat Liverpool to 25yo midfielder
  • Gareth Bale has been linked with a host of clubs including Man Utd, Real Madrid and Barcelona.

"He's fantastically happy at Tottenham," said Sherwood.

"I see him around the training ground every day, he's got a good working relationship with the manager and he loves his team-mates. They show him the respect that he deserves and he gives it back to them.

"I don't see him banging the door down trying to get a move. I believe one million per cent he will stay at Tottenham."
