24-year-old Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels will not leave his current club in favour of a switch to Spanish giants Barcelona. The German international has been persistently linked with a transfer after the Champions League final.
However, Hummels has told reporters that there is no reason for supporters to worry, the defender is happy at his current club.
"I've not had any contact with Barcelona or any other club," said Hummels. "I don't think it's my duty to dismiss rumours which other people invent.
"If there was to be any truth in them, I would say so. If I say there is nothing behind the speculation, then people should believe me."
