Lyon to make offer for Arsenal forward Gervinho

French side Lyon are readying an offer for Ivory Coast international Gervinho. The player has fallen out of favour at Arsenal in recent months and could be allowed to return to France.

Since moving to Arsenal the forward has endured a difficult time adapting to life in the Premier League, often frustrating many of the Gunners' fans.



Yesterday the forward had been linked with a move to Lyon - firstly on a season long loan and then the option to make a deal permanent.



Arsene Wenger is ready to sell the player, according to a report.
