Monaco complete Falcao move

02 June 2013 - 04:51

27-year-old striker Radamel Falcao has completed a sensational move from Atletico Madrid to Monaco. The Colombian striker becomes the third high profile signing completed by the French side.

  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal
  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • Falcao scored 32 goals in all competitions this year for Atleti, the type of form that has persuaded Russian billionaire Dimitry Rybolovlev to spend big on the player.

"We are proud to have secured one of the best players in the world and confident he will help Monaco regain its rightful status," said Rybolovlev.

"We are absolutely delighted that Radamel Falcao has accepted the challenge of coming to play for AS Monaco."
