Sunderland are favourites to sign Celtic striker Gary Hooper. The 25-year-old had an inspirational season in the Scottish Premier League and has thus been linked with a move down south back home.
Last season Hooper scored 19 goals in 32 league games, an impressive return from the striker who has now scored 82 goals in 137 Celtic games.<br />
Southampton and Norwich were also believed to be expressing an interest in the forward.
