The German international is a long time target of Chelsea, having decided that he would leave Bayer Leverkusen for a move to the Premier League.<br />

A deal was confirmed by Leverkusen's sporting director Rudi Voeller yesterday. The 22-year-old will now thrash out personal terms with the Blues.
