Chelsea's move for Schurrle back on

Despite reports yesterday that Chelsea's move to sign Germany international Andre Schurrle appeared to be off, we can report that a deal is now back on and on the verge of completion.

The German international is a long time target of Chelsea, having decided that he would leave Bayer Leverkusen for a move to the Premier League.


A deal was confirmed by Leverkusen's sporting director Rudi Voeller yesterday. The 22-year-old will now thrash out personal terms with the Blues.
