26-year-old defensive midfielder Jose Canas has signed a deal with Swansea. The player will leave Real Betis, where his contract has now expired, and join the Welsh team on July 1.
The 26-year-old is the first player to have been brought in by Michael Laudrup, in what is sure to be a very busy summer of transfer activity at the club. The player has spent his entire career at Betis, but fell out of favour in recent months.<br />
The player has reportedly signed a 3-year-contract with the Swans.
