26-year-old defensive midfielder Jose Canas has signed a deal with Swansea. The player will leave Real Betis, where his contract has now expired, and join the Welsh team on July 1.
The 26-year-old is the first player to have been brought in by Michael Laudrup, in what is sure to be a very busy summer of transfer activity at the club. The player has spent his entire career at Betis, but fell out of favour in recent months.
The player has reportedly signed a 3-year-contract with the Swans.
