  • Arsenal have been linked with a move for the forward but face competition from Italian side Juventus, German side Borussia Dortmund as well as some new interest from Manchester City.

The Gunners will bid a record 30 million Euros to bring the striker to the Premier League. Arsenal are hopeful that a deal can be reached between the two clubs and that personal terms should prove no problem now that the likes of Andrei Arshavin and Denilson are off the books; Arsenal released three players last week.

Higuain will make a decision on his future as soon as he returns from his holidays in early July.
