Newcastle United defender Mike Williamson is all set to seal a move to Cardiff City. The 29-year-old had been told he is surplus to requirements at St. James' Park.
Since joining in 2010, Williamson has played well over 80 games for the Toon Army, but Alan Pardew has told the defender that he is free to leave the club at the end of the year.<br />
Cardiff City have a transfer kitty of around £15 million to spend on new players this summer; Williamson could be the first to agree terms.
