Norwich to make bid for Ola Toivonen

Norwich City are hopeful that they can agree a deal for Swedish forward Ola Toivonen. The striker is currently at PSV where he has bagged 59 goals in 125 games. The 26-year-old has long been linked with a move to the Premier League.

Two months ago Norwich secured a move to sign Dutch striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel, now manager Chris Hughton is eager to tie up a deal for the Swedish striker to partner him up front.<br />

Toivonen would be available for a fee of around 5.5 million Euros, but Norwich face competition for the player from the likes of Ajax and Lyon; both of whom are looking for a new forward for next season.
