Swansea hope to re-sign Jonathan de Guzman

Swansea City are hopeful that they can wrap up another loan for Dutch international midfielder Jonathan de Guzman. The Canada-born player has headed back to Villarreal, his parent club.

Villarreal were recently promoted to La Liga this month and De Guzman had been linked with a return to his parent club, but Swansea are eager to ensure he stays for another year.<br />

The freekick specialist is currently valued at around 6 million Euros for a permanent deal, somewhat out of the price range for Michael Laudrup's men.
