16 June 2013 - 04:56

PSV midfielder, Kevin Strootman may just be on his way out of the club leaving for Napoli, who have shown some serious interest in the Dutch international.

  • Enzo Maresca explains why Cole Palmer didn't face Newcastle

  • Strootman's agent, Chiel Dekker, in his talk with Voetbal International revealed that Napoli is in mood for some serious talk regarding the 23 year old signing a deal with them this summer.

"Napoli's interest is pretty serious. They have already approached us"

"Kevin's focussed on the U-21 Euros for now though."

Strootman has also been linked with a move to the Premier League, where Manchester United have long been eyeing the midfielder. Though Napoli seem to be leading the race, nothing can be a surity as of now, owing to Strootman's inclination towards the bigger league.

"Kevin's never made it a secret that he has a preference for the Premier League", added the agent.

Kevin Strootman has a contract with PSV until 2016 leaving three years on the signed deal but he could be released for a sum of about 15 million euros.
