Sir Alex Ferguson To Help Bring Ronaldo Back

16 June 2013 - 05:54

Manchester United will do anything, practically anything in their hand to lure Christiano Ronaldo, the star Portuguese striker to their club this season. Recently, they have hired the services of former United boss Sir Alex Ferguson in order to push Ronaldo to come back to Man Utd.

  • Arsenal to swap Gabriel Jesus for Inter Milan star?
  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • Ronaldo, has many a times, proclaimed Fergie to be a father figure for him in the past. He was also deeply disappointed at the news of Sir Alex's retirement in the end of the last season. Ferguson is said to have a strong bond with the current Real Madrid winger.

Amidst all the rumours about this transfer that could well be the biggest saga of this transfer season, Old Trafford just doesn't want to leave any stone unturned in the pursuit of signing in Ronaldo this season.

Ronaldo's move to the Man Utd. is gaining momentum, more so after Real has accelerated efforts in getting Gareth Bale for the club, who is worthy of an ideal replacement for Ronaldo. United are trying to tempt the Spanish club with a bid of 65 million pounds in addition to a make-weight like Nani or Hernandez.

In the quest of this attacking striker, Manchester United have instructed their former manager to do everything in his domain to exploit his relations with Ronaldo to lure him back to his former club.
