The Hammers are ready to make an offer for versatile French-born Ludovic Sane. The Bordeaux player has been told he is free to join the Premier League side if their valuation of 3.8 million Euros is matched.

The Senegalese international has been with Bordeaux since 2009 and is now eager for a chance to impress in another country.<br />

The late blooming defensive midfielder - who is also comfortable playing in central defence - has a contract with the French side until 2014.<br />

The Hammers are expected to be busy this summer and have earmarked a possible 7 players that they would like to sign.
