Guilherme Siqueira close to Everton move

Everton are reportedly on the cusp of agreeing a deal of Brazilian left back Guilherme Siqueira. The 27-year-old is currently playing for Spanish side Granada and has impressed since his arrival in 2011.

The player, who started his professional career playing for Inter Milan and Lazio, then moved on to Udinese where he finally forced his way into the first team.<br />

From there onwards he moved to Granada and scored an impressive 24 goals in 70 games from a defensive role.<br />

Everton manager Roberto Martinez regularly watches Spanish league games and when watching a Granada game 3 months ago, that is when Siqueira first caught his eye. A deal is expected to be agreed soon for a fee of around 3.8 million Euros.
