Hull City are set to complete a move for Birmingham City defender Curtis Davies. The player will move to Steve Bruce's side in a deal worth £2.25m. The 28-year-old has scored 11 goals in 89 games for Brum.

  • Chelsea quoted price to sign Igor Thiago
  • After two years of playing in the Championship with Birmingham, Davies is desperate to return to the Premier League and Hull manager Steve Bruce is uncertain about his current defensive duo in the heart of defence, which includes his son, Alex Bruce.<br />

A deal should be completed for Davies before the end of next week and the player is due in  Hull to discuss personal terms with the newly promoted side.
