  • With Sagna's contract at Arsenal coming into its final year, the Emirates based club are hoping to find a successor as soon as possible.

22-year-old Corchia, who has been with Sochaux since 2011, has been suggested as a possible replacement for Sagna. The French under-21 international however, has reportedly told his agent that he would prefer to remain in his homeland.

Francois Gilles, the player's agent quipped: "Sebastien has chosen. Lyon is the future, this is what he wants (and) is what he has planned. I can at least confirm that today."
