Julian Draxler linked with a Premier League move

28 June 2013 - 11:49

Schalke president Clemens Tonnies has recently admitted that he would not come in the way of Julian Draxler if a top club in the Europe comes up with an acceptable bid for him.

  • Enzo Fernandez wants to leave Chelsea
  • Man Utd set to hold contract talks with experienced star
  • The 19-year-old Germany midfielder has recently signed a new five-year contract with the Bundesliga side, yet that has not brought a conclusion to his future at the club.<br /><br />Chelsea are among the clubs to be associated with a move for the player who was the youngest to make 100 appearances for Schalke in their football history.<br />

And Clemes Tonnies insists that even his highly-rated starlet has a price.<br /><br />"Of course we want to keep hold of him, Julian is an important figure in Schalke," he told the Express newspaper.<br /><br />"But if we want to be fair with him, then maybe we have got to consider letting him move abroad sooner or later.<br /><br />"If somebody like Real Madrid were to enquire about him, what should I say? Don't talk to them? Get serious."
