Franck Ribery pens new Bayern Munich contract

30-year-old French winger Franck Ribery has signed a new four year contract with Bavarian giants Bayern Munich. The versatile forward had been linked with a move away from Germany, but will instead spend his best years at the Allianz Arena.

Ribery helped Bayern Munich to a wonderful treble last year, that success was largely in part down to the impressive form of the Frenchman.<br />

"I'm really pleased," Ribery said.&nbsp;"I always said how great it feels to be at FC Bayern.<br />

"I have a good feeling for me and my family and I hope things will carry on the way they were in the past year."
