30-year-old French winger Franck Ribery has signed a new four year contract with Bavarian giants Bayern Munich. The versatile forward had been linked with a move away from Germany, but will instead spend his best years at the Allianz Arena.
Ribery helped Bayern Munich to a wonderful treble last year, that success was largely in part down to the impressive form of the Frenchman.
"I'm really pleased," Ribery said. "I always said how great it feels to be at FC Bayern.
"I have a good feeling for me and my family and I hope things will carry on the way they were in the past year."
