Chelsea monitoring Sporting Lisbon sensation Bruma

01 July 2013 - 14:03

The Europa League champions Chelsea are currently monitoring Sporting Lisbon’s young starlet Bruma. The Portuguese Under-20 international has been compared many times to his compatrior and Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo

  • Chelsea ready to pay €75m for Eduardo Camavinga
  • Chelsea planning move for Strasbourg striker Joaquin Panichelli

  • Bruma has recently gained admiration of another one of his countrymen, that's Chelsea Manager Jose Mourinho.

The new Chelsea manager has been on the search for targets who could feel the vacant spots in his team. Mourinho now seems to believe Bruma would be the perfect player to sign for the Stamford Bridge club, as he looks to add players who can have long time futures at the club.

Armindo Tué Na Bangna, commonly known as Bruma, has been very impressive in domestic competitions last season, but has really caught the attentions of everyone at the U20 World Cup in Turkey having scored 5 goals in 3 appearances. The young striker can play anywhere across the front line and coupled with his nationality and association to Sporting Lisbon has drawn him the predictable tag of being the ‘New Cristiano Ronaldo’.
