Crystal Palace monitoring Sam Byram

Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway wants to make a move for 19-year-old full back Sam Byram, who is currently playing for Leeds United. The England under-20 international has been told that he is free to leave if someone matches Leeds' asking price.

  • The versatile youngster burst onto the scene last year for Leeds, playing in over 40 games for his club. Since then, the Essex-born youngster has impressed numerous Premier League clubs and Palace are the first to make an official offer.<br />

    £3m is the reported asking price for Byram, who is also interested in a move back towards his hometown of London.
