Owen Hargreaves has revealed his delight at being able to return to action against Middlesbrough at the weekend. Man Utd won the game 4-1 and Hargreaves was confident and is happy to start getting involved in team affairs again.
âItâs been very stop and start,â Hargreaves told MUTV. âYou just want to get involved, itâs great to get back in the team and have a game, especially when the game is won.
âIâve been out for quite some time, so Iâm a bit sore, a bit stiff, but those things are part and parcel when youâve been out. Weâve got a few days before the Arsenal game, so weâll try and do things right so that Iâm fit.â
Hargreavesâ injury absence has been an unusual one, with recurring knee problems, and he makes no attempt to hide his frustration at being repeatedly sidelined.
âItâs been frustrating because Iâve really had it since the end of last season.
âFor some reason my bodyâs not happy with the way it is, so you need insoles and things to correct that. Iâve been trying to get round it and find the answer because I donât want to miss any games, I want to be fit for the rest of the season.â
