Everton eye move for Nathan Dyer

04 July 2013 - 13:30

The new Everton manager Roberto Martinez is set to raid his former club Swansea City as he plots a £5m offer for the dynamic Swansea City winger Nathan Dyer.

 • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
 • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
 • Martinez spent £400k to bring Nathan Dyer from the Saints to South Wales in 2009 and the small in stature wide-man has now become a fan-favourite for the fans of Liberty stadium, summing up 195 appearances for the club, scoring 19 goals so far.
Dyer had a great outing throughout last season as he scored as Swansea City beat Bradford City to win the Capital One Cup. The winger could now be tempted by the possible switch to Everton. The Merseyside club are ready to offer Dyer a three year deal worth £40k a week, a deal that the Swans attacker would be unable to refuse.
Dyer has just a year left on his current contract with Swansea City and if an offer in the range of £5m is put up,the Swansea management would be happy to accept it as the manager Laudrup looks for additonal transfer budget to look on other options having already sealed the deal for Jonjo Shelvey.
