Galatasaray eye move for Arsenal defender Sagna

06 July 2013 - 06:44

30-year-old defender Bacary Sagna, who has only 1 year left on his current deal with Arsenal, has been linked with a shock move to Turkish giants Galatasaray. Gala are ready to offer 6 million Euros to sign the full back and are in pole position to secure a deal should the Gunners decide to sell.

 • Enzo Fernandez wants to leave Chelsea
 • Man Utd can finally sign Ederson for huge bargain fee
 • Arsenal have a strict policy that over 30 players are only offered one year contracts, and Arsene Wenger has only occasionally adjusted the rule, such as when Mikel Arteta joined the Gunners back in 2011.
Sagna wants a 3 year contract at the Emirates but Arsenal will only offer 2 years to the French international.
Sagna's agent Laurent Gutsmith confirmed the interest of several other clubs: "Bacary still has a year left on his contract but Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray and Paris Saint-Germain are all interested."
