The Gunners boss is ready to confirm his interest in Queens Park Rangers keeper Julio Cesar with a £1.5m bid to acquire the player's services.
Julio Cesar who is currently at a £70k per week deal with recently relegated QPR, is keen on a move to the North London club, and is likely to be allowed to move on the cheap to have him off the Championship club's wage bill.<br /><br />Arsenal's manager Wenger sees the 33-year-old Brazilian International as the ideal experienced keeper who would provide competition alongside Wojciech Szczesny, but also be their new number 1.<br />
The North London side have been monitoring the goalie for the past few months, and are now willing to start the bidding process.
