Swansea City are holding negotiations with QPR over a move for Esteban Granero, claims the player’s agent. Granero reportedly insists he does not want to play in the Championship next season.
The 26-year-old moved at Loftus Road last August from Real Madrid. He made 27 appearances in all competitions for the club last season.
The player insists he does not intend to participate in the Championship, following QPR’s relegation from the Premier League. The player’s agent also confirms his client would be willing to entertain an approach from the Liberty Stadium.
His agent, Carlo Cutropia said:
"The two clubs are talking about, it's true”
"[Michael] Laudrup knows him very well from Getafe, where together they had a great Uefa Cup campaign.”
"Swansea are also looking at many Spanish players and play in Europe next year, the destination would be absolutely acceptable to Esteban."
