Manchester United are poised to make a couple of signings during the winter transfer window.
The Red Devils primarily focused on strengthening their midfield this summer with the signings of Youri Tielemans, Andrey Santos and Carlos Baleba.
Tielemans has been a pivotal figure in the Red Devils' starting XI, but Santos has yet to establish himself. He had a difficult debut against Hull City last month.
Meanwhile, Baleba has been out with an ankle injury from pre-season, but the Cameroon international looks poised to make his debut after the international break.
It is now revealed that United are likely to focus on two key positions this winter. A new left-back is one of the main priorities, given Luke Shaw's injury concerns.
A striker could be signed too, with Joshua Zirkzee more likely to leave in January. The Dutchman was linked with several clubs over the summer and could depart this winter.
Juventus, AC Milan and Everton are among his main admirers.
