Crystal Palace to bid for Peter Odemwingie

11 July 2013 - 06:41

Crystal Palace are set to make a surprise bid for Nigerian striker Peter Odemwingie. The player is no longer needed at West Brom as manager Steve Clarke has told the former Spartak Moscow player he is free to leave this summer.

  • Arsenal want to make four marquee signings this summer

  • Odemwingie had a highly publicised falling out with his manager Steve Clarke during the January transfer window after WBA rejected QPR's offer for him. Since then, he has struggled to force his way back into the first team.

Odemwingie is set to leave for a fee of around 1 million GBP as the Birmingham based side are prepared to take a hit on their original investment for the striker.
