Celtic manager Gordon Strachan has eased fears that Polish goalkeeper Artur Boruc may leave the club by announcing that there will be discussions over a new contract forthcoming in the next few weeks.
Boruc, 27, still has two years left on his current Celtic deal, with the option of a further year if a contract extension is agreed.
"We offered him talks at the beginning of the season and that is ongoing," Strachan said.
"We were the ones that instigated them and at the moment it's going great with (chief executive) Peter Lawwell and Artur so that's fine."
