Denmark international striker Nicklas Bendtner will leave Arsenal for Hull City. The misfit striker has reportedly been in contact with Steve Bruce over a transfer and Hull are ready to pay £2.3 million for Bendtner.
Having seen a deal to Eintracht Frankfurt fall through last week, Arsenal are now ready to offload Bendtner to another team after Arsene Wenger told the forward he would be no part of Arsenal's first team plans for the year ahead.
An unsuccessful loan spell at Juventus has failed to convince any Italian side to make a move.
Meanwhile, Hull City are looking for more depth in their attacking options and will turn to the Danish striker.
Bendtner and Hull manager Steve Bruce have a close relationship having worked together during Bendtner's loan period at Sunderland two years ago. In addition, Bendtner's former girlfriend is Steve Bruce's daughter whilst Nicklas Bendtner's father is also a close friend of Steve Bruce. The two families have often holidayed together in the past and Bruce is now ready to bring Bendtner to the North of England to revive his troubled Premier League career.
