Robert lewandowski has accepted the fact that he is set to stay as a Borussia Dortmund player for another season. The Bundesliga side denied the player a move to their rivals Bayern Munich this summer.
The Polish International is rumoured to be set to join the Bundesliga Champions Bayern Munich in 12 months' time when his contract comes to a close, but reports suggest the striker was keen to finalise the deal through this summer.
Borussia Dortmund's recent signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from St.Etienne induced a fresh speculation that Lewandowski could be sold during the summer transfer window.
"I have to accept that I am under contract with Borrusia Dortmund and therefore I have to remain a player of the club", lewandowski told BILD.
