Argentina striker Gonzalo Bergessio has been linked with a move to Southampton. The Catania forward has been impressive in recent years and could make a surprise move to the Saints.
The 28-year-old has been impressive since arriving at Catania from St. Etienne back in 2011, scoring 20 goals in 66 games. The Argentine has forged an excellent partnership with fellow Argentine, Alejandro Gomez.<br />
It is also understood that some other Italian sides are monitoring the situation, with Napoli and Genoa both rumoured to have made an enquiry for the striker.
