Tottenham target Soldado staying at Valencia

Roberto Soldado, a reported target of Tottenham, will be staying at Valencia for the new season. The international striker had been linked with a move to Andre Villas-Boas' side this summer.

    In addition, Valencia have revealed that no offers have been made for the Spain international striker.<br />

    Tottenham are believed to be looking for a new forward as there remains some uncertainty over the long term future of current strike duo Jermain Defoe and Emmanuel Adebayor. Adebayor is currently in talks with Turkish club Besiktas.
