Lucas Digne snubs Liverpool for PSG move

Paris St Germain have completed a 9 million Euro deal to sign Lille defender Lucas Digne. The 19-year-old has signed a five year contract with the capital club.

Laurent Blanc had been eager to wrap up a deal for the French Under-20 starlet as the likes of Liverpool and Everton had both been in the race to sign the talented defender.<br />

In the end, the 19-year-old agreed a deal with the Ligue 1 Champions.<br />

"Playing for Paris Saint-Germain with these exceptional players is a childhood dream come true and a huge joy," said Digne. "When you add this to the World Cup win last week, I'm having the most amazing summer ever."
