Four Clubs Monitoring Messi

Four Clubs Monitoring Messi

19 July 2013 - 16:31

One of the best strikers in the world, Barcelona’s Lionel Messi, is reportedly drawing huge attention from four cash-rich clubs- PSG, Manchester City, Anzhi and Monaco. The clubs are believed to be monitoring the Argentina international’s relation with the Catalan giants.

 • Chelsea suffer big injury blow ahead of Everton game
 • Enzo Fernandez refuses to rule out Chelsea exit
 • The Portuguese newspaper, A Bola, believes that the 26-year old is unhappy with the lack of interest and support from his club in the tax fraud case. Although Messi has played down the allegations, it has been suggested that he is not very pleased by the way the Barcelona officials reacted to it.
Lionel Messi’s release clause is a whopping 250million euros but it is understood that the interested clubs are prepared to offer 120million euros to sign him, which could be a real test for the attacker.
PSG president had earlier warned the La Liga champions not to make a move for their star defender Thiago Silva. He said, “If Barça pay Thiago’s release clause, I’ll pay Messi’s.”
