Southampton player, Gaston Ramirez’s agent has claimed that Inter Milan may be willing to enter negotiations for the forward.
Ramirez had joined the Saints from Bologna about a year ago but now he has been linked with a move back to Serie A during this transfer season.
It has been suggested by the player’s agent in Italian media that Inter Milan could be a possible destination for his client this summer, even though he has not been in touch with them personally. He claimed that Inter will have to pay a huge amount to sign Ramirez.
"I have not personally had any contact with Inter, but there could well have been discussions between the clubs," agent Pablo Betancourt told Ilsussidiario.net.
"Should it be possible? I'm convinced that everything can be done if there is the money to do it.
"For Ramirez the English side made a big sacrifice, so if Inter like him they will have to pay a big sum.
"Italy is in Ramirez's heart, but I don't like talking about things that are not concrete.
"Should there be an offer, then we will evaluate."
