Verona Sign Bosko Jankovic

21 July 2013 - 19:07

Serbian international Bosko Jankovic has agreed on a deal with newly promoted side Verona. He will move to Verona from their Serie A rivals Genoa for an undisclosed fee.

  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town
  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal

  • The 29-year-old midfielder joins the side after other new signees of this season, Luca Toni and Massimo Donati. He will bring experience to the midfield of Verona, who have been promoted recently.

A statement published on the club’s official website read:

"Hellas Verona have acquired the registration of Bosko Jankovic from Genoa CFC.

"The player has joined his team-mates at the summer training camp in Val Ridanna. After meeting (coach) Andrea Mandorlini and all the staff, he joined in with a training session for about an hour."

The club have, however, not revealed the length of contract that has been agreed on by Jankovic. The Serbian has represented his country 31 times, and has netted 5 goals. He also made 84 league appearances for Genoa in five years.
