Arsenal star absent from England team training

Arsenal defender Ezri Konsa did not feature in England's team training session ahead of the Nations League clash against Czechia on the road.

The centre-back has been a key player for the Gunners since he arrived from Aston Villa and has started the last three Premier League matches.

Konsa also made the XI during the 3-2 Nations League defeat to Spain last week, but he may not feature against Czechia after missing training.

He was absent from the team training session alongside Nico O'Reilly and looks poised to be sidelined for the next game on Tuesday night.

Konsa reportedly suffered a knock against La Roja, and Arsenal will hope that it is nothing serious, given they need him for the season restart.

With William Saliba out with a back issue, Konsa is considered the immediate deputy for the right centre-back position this campaign.

Cristhian Mosquera can also play there, but he is just returning from an injury sustained against Aston Villa in the second week of the season.
