Manchester United are determined to sign Barcelona’s Cesc Fabregas this summer, despite the Catalan club failing to respond to their initial offer. David Moyes is prepared to smash the club’s transfer record in order to lure Fabregas back to the Premier League.
The Old Trafford side are believed to have submitted another bid of around £30 million plus add-ons, which would make Fabregas the most expensive player bought in United’s history, if Barcelona accept this offer.
Manchester United are understood to be ready to double Fabregas £100,000 a week wages in order to lure him to England. Moreover Fabregas is also guaranteed a first team spot at United, which does not seem likely at Barcelona, following Neymar’s arrival.
